Warriors is a fantasy series published by HarperCollins and written by Erin Hunter, who is actually three people! You can learn more about the authors Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Victoria Holmes by going here. Currently, the Warriors saga consists of three series: Warriors, The New Prophecy, and Power of Three.
What is exactly Warriors about anyway? Well, cats of course. But not just your ordinary housecat. These are feral [wild] cats. They live in four groups of cats called Clans. The Clans live in a forest, and it is divided into four territories, one for each Clan. The Clans have a set of "laws" that they live by known as the Warrior Code. The Clan cats believe in StarClan, a fifth Clan made up of their warrior ancestors. The cats of the Clans must live and survive against the other Clans and against any threats that lurk about the forest. The cats feel and face emotions just like us humans. They feel love, anger, hate, betrayal, loyalty, honor, death, etc. Now, I may not be the 'master' of introducing you to the saga, but perhaps I should show you the description of the first book to help you understand it better? The book that started the whole Warriors franchise: Into the Wild.

For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to the laws laid down by their powerful ancestors. But the warrior code is threatened, and the ThunderClan cats are in grave danger. The sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day.
